With Cam’s reputation and career on the line, the team travels from overseas to help her solve the case of an unidentified young boy. The Forensics Anthropology Unit lost much of its vigor after disbanding to pursue personal ventures, and it will take the collaborative energy and knowledge of the newly reunited team to unravel evidence and find closure for the family of the unknown boy. Disney Channel unleashed the last promo of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” before it premieres on September 3. Without giving away too much of the plot, the new TV spot packs in the dance sequences by the kids from both Camp Rock and its rival Camp Star.
Mitchie can’t wait to return to Camp Rock so that she and rock star Shane Gray can spend the summer making music and having fun with their friends. But when Mitchie arrives, she discovers that Camp Star, a slick new camp across the lake, has lured many campers and instructors away, threatening the very existence of Camp Rock.
The cast such as Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Alyson Stoner and Chloe Bridges have toured nationally since summer to promote the TV movie as well as its soundtrack album. Containing lead track “It’s On”, the album has been released in the United States on August 10.
The tremendous success of indie flick “Paranormal Activity” is stretched much wider with a TV deal. The small screen viewers may soon have trouble sleeping for a TV show is being worked on based on the movie about unknown being which disturbs a young couple’s sleep at nights.
Creator of the movie, Oren Peli, is teaming up with Dreamworks TV and ABC Studios to develop the series which is going to be called “The River“. Executive producers Steven Schneider and Jason Blum who worked on the first installment and “Paranormal Activity 2” screenwriter Michael R. Perry are also involved in creating the horror series.
Not much different from the movie, “River” will show a recording from a video camera that captures inexplicable happenings. However, instead of being set in a bedroom like in the original movie, the series is bigger in spectrum by covering people who went missing on the Amazon River. A famed adventurer disappeared in the area and was looked for by his friends and crew.
This format has found relatively big success in two other movies, namely “Blair Witch Project” and “Cloverfield“.
No idea when the project will come to life but THR said Dreamworks is “near a pilot deal” with ABC. And since this is a coveted project, ABC is bound to produce the pilot or a penalty is incurred. NBC is said as the other network which had an interest in the project.

HBO has picked up sophomore comedy series “Hung” for a third season.
The network has ordered another 10 episodes to air next year.
The pickup wasn’t entirely expected. The show has performed modestly for the network, roughly matching “Entourage,” and has dipped slightly from its first-season average.
Those who will travel thousands of miles around the world in “The Amazing Race” season 17 have been unveiled. Eleven teams are comprised of among others; beauty queens, YouTube sensations, a capella singers and doctors.
But the one with the most interesting background story would be stay-at-home mom Andie DeKroon who is only reunited with her 21-year-old daughter Jenna Sykes. Andie gave up Jenna for adoption when she was still a baby. “I hope to get to know my birth mother through this incredible opportunity,” Jenna said in her official CBS bio. “It is my hope that we will be able to spend a lot of time together and become friends.”
Another notable pair is Michael and Kevin Wu who are father and son. Kevin at 20-years-old is officially the youngest contestant in “Amazing Race” history. But he is better known as the YouTube sensation who has over 1 million subscribers on his channel.
These 11 teams would visit four continents with the starting point at the Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The show will make first-time visits to Bangladesh, Ghana, and the Arctic Circle. The filming began in May and the season premieres on Sunday, September 26 with 90 minutes runtime.

Coming kind of expected, Bravo TV has renewed two of its most-successful series “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and “The Real Housewives of New York City“. The former’s renewal comes on the heels of its reunion episode which sets a rating record of 3.9 million viewers aka Bravo’s most watched telecast of the season.
“New Jersey” will return for the third season next year while “New York City” will be back for the fourth season and start filming September 20. “New York City” however, will see Bethenny Frankel no more. After three seasons, the socialite decided to walk away from the show due to her rivalry with co-star Jill Zarin.
In an interview with Us Weekly Frankel said, “Last season was scary and painful. It took all of the joy out of it.” Frankel has been in feud with Kelly Bensimon since the first season but she was hurt by the fact that her BFF Zarin bad mouthed her last season.
Nevertheless, Frankel still has her own show “Bethenny Getting Married?” which debuted this June to a number which almost matched the second season premiere of “Real Housewives of New York City”.
