Kristen Stewart Would Love an ‘SNL’ Gig

Kristen Stewart would not rule out the possibility of her cracking up some laugh through “Saturday Night Live“. The actress who is currently promoting “The Runaways” was questioned by E! Online whether she would love to follow the footstep of “Twilight” co-star Taylor Lautner who hosted the show in December last year.

“They haven’t asked me to do it,” she said, adding “I would love to say yes for sure, but that is really really scary. I am so critical of myself and then also of people who are on the show. It’s like, ‘Nope, you’re not funny – next!’ ”

On Thursday, March 11, Kristen Stewart together with Dakota Fanning made a promotional appearance for “The Runaways” at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California. Taylor Lautner was also spotted among the guests but he did not come together with Stewart. “The Runaways” hits limited theaters in U.S. on March 19.

New ‘Firefly’ Comic Penned by Patton Oswalt

The sci-fi series that never said die is rising from the Earth once more.

Comedian Patton Oswalt will write ‘Serenity: Float Out,’ a comic book that picks up where the film ‘Serenity’ left off, with the death of the ship’s pilot, Wash.

Oswalt said the new chapter of the ‘Firefly’ saga features the remaining crew christening a new ship, hence the “float out,” and recalling stories of Wash in action.

“We’re basically seeing what could be the start of a new adventure,” Oswalt told MTV.

MTV has also released an image of the comic’s new cover art featuring Wash. The comic from Dark Horse Comics will hit stands on June 2.

But before this can happen, she gets knocked unconscious at a photo shoot of the “Million Dollar Bra” at the Guggenheim, spinning her into a dream sequence. An angelic Dr. Frankel shows her how different her life would have been had she never worn braces. She’s the “pretty sister,” while Hilda is homely, Ignacio is a compulsive gambler, Marc is a doting dad and Amanda is married to Daniel. But glam Betty is also mean – she’s in cahoots with Wilhemina to terrify and overpower everyone at Mode. “Ugly Betty” airs WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Ugly Betty” stars America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, Eric Mabius as Daniel Meade, Tony Plana as Ignacio, Ana Ortiz as Hilda, Judith Light as Claire Meade, Becki Newton as Amanda, Michael Urie as Marc, Mark Indelicato as Justin and Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina Slater.

Guest starring are Donna Murphy as Eve, Neal Bledsoe as Tyler, Halley Feiffer as Allison, Ryan McGinnis as Austin, and Kathy Najimy as Dr. Frankel.

‘Glee’ Spring Premiere Set for April 13

Fox is putting ‘Glee’ back in the line up. No, it’s not a new show, but it is a chance to revisit and remind yourself that in only five week, new ‘Glee’ episodes will be back. That means, more music, more dancing, more Mr. Schu and … wait for it … more Sue Sylvester.

The folks at Fox are nearly as psyched about the show’s return as the fans. When ‘Glee’ returns for the spring premiere on Tuesday, April 13, it will be big, reports The Futon Critic. It’s so big that it’s going to be going into the ten o’clock hour. Normally, Fox affiliates take over at ten with local news or syndicated programming. Not on April 13th.

Here’s how it’s going to work. ‘American Idol’ will run from 8:00 to 9:30 PM ET. Then, at 9:30, ‘Glee’ will begin with a full one hour episode. Then, a week later, on April 20, ‘Idol’ and ‘Glee’ will settle into the regular timeslots, 8:00 – 10:00 PM ET.

There’s a lot to look forward to, as we’ve been writing about for weeks. There’s Idina Menzel joining the show as a competing show choir director. There’s the upcoming all Madonna music show. Sue Sylvester will get a new adversary — Molly Shannon. And then there’s the Neil Patrick Harris show, which will pit him against Will. And then there’s all the stories about the actual regulars … Quinn’s pregnancy, Terri’s fighting to win WIll back, Emma’s now requited love, Rachel’s stardom …
