KAT GETS SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL, WHILE BIANCA IS CAUGHT UP IN A VIDEO SCANDAL, IN THE MID-SEASON RETURN OF ABC FAMILY’S HIT COMEDY SERIES,
“10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU,” MONDAY, MARCH 29 AT 8:00 PM ET/PT
Burbank, CA (February 10, 2010) – ABC Family’s original comedy series, “10 Things I Hate About You,” returns with 10 all-new half hour episodes beginning Monday, March 29 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT). The critically acclaimed series, recently named by the New York Times as one of the “Top 10 Television Shows of 2009,” bowed this summer as the network’s highest rated comedy in its history.
In the mid-season premiere episode, Kat and Patrick are caught skipping school and both get suspended. How will Kat deal with a suspension after learning it might ruin her GPA, potentially destroying her dream to get into a prestigious college? Meanwhile, Bianca has her own problems after a secret make-out session with Joey is caught on video. Will Chastity watch the security tape before Bianca gets the chance to erase the evidence? Find out in an all-new episode of ABC Family’s original series, “10 Things I Hate About You,” entitled “Da Repercussions,” directed by Henry Chan and written by Erin Ehrlich.
“10 Things I Hate About You” is executive produced by Carter Covington and Robin Schiff. Larry Miller reprises his role as Walter Stratford, the over-protective father to the Stratford sisters – Kat (Lindsey Shaw), a feminist with a razor-sharp tongue, and Bianca (Meaghan Martin), a girl with a plan to climb the social ladder at her new school. Ethan Peck takes on the role of resident bad boy, Patrick Verona. Nicholas Braun portrays Cameron James, Padua High’s “nice guy,” and Dana Davis portrays head cheerleader Chastity Church.

ABC FAMILY’S HIT COMEDY “10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU” RETURNS ON MONDAY, MARCH 29 AT 8:00PM ET/PT
Burbank, CA (January 12, 2010) – ABC Family’s original comedy series “10 Things I Hate About You” will return with ten all-new half-hour episodes beginning Monday, March 29 (8:00PM-8:30PM ET/PT). The critically acclaimed series, recently named by New York Times as one of the “Top 10 Television Shows of 2009,” bowed this summer as the network’s highest rated comedy in its history. The series is executive-produced by Carter Covington and Robin Schiff, and stars Larry Miller, Lindsey Shaw, Meaghan Martin, Ethan Peck, Nicholas Braun and Dana Davis.
The half-hour series centers on the Stratford sisters, Kat (Shaw) and Bianca (Martin), as they both approach high school with very contradictory goals. Kat is a strong-willed, in-your-face feminist who is looking to save the world and get out of high school as fast as she can. Bianca is a social butterfly whose only concern is that she be popular, at any cost. As they both attend Padua High, the girls try to find what they want while navigating the popular crowd, boys and their over-protective Dad (Miller).

ABC Family confirms to us exclusively that the network has picked up the back 10 episodes of 10 Things I Hate About You’s first season! According to show runner Carter Covington, those episodes are likely to premiere beginning in January 2010.

When Padua High enforces a new policy on uniforms and bag search on the students, Kat sets out to rally the students in protest. She enlists help from someone unexpected — Chastity. But will Kat and Chastity be able to put their differences aside and come together for a common goal? Find out in an all-new episode of ABC Family’s original series, “10 Things I Hate About You,” premiering Tuesday, September 8, 2009 (8:00 – 8:30 PM ET/PT). The episode, entitled “Don’t Leave Me This Way,” was directed by Gil Junger and written by Carter Covington and Robin Schiff.
Meanwhile, Bianca’s dream comes true when she finally gets to step into a cheerleader uniform, though her big moment could be jeopardized if she can’t keep her kiss with Joey a secret from Chastity.
