Yes, physicians have a great role on the lives of those who are sick. It is as if they can bring back life. Sometimes, if we are that so ill- fated and just so hopeless that anytime soon our life will be taken from us, we just depend on the hands of our physicians. But do you ever ask yourself what exactly are doctors trying to accomplish with all their hard work? Patrick Dempsey has already mapped a proper exit for his character Dr. Derek Shepherd should he quit “Grey’s Anatomy” after season 8. Met at the premiere of his new movie “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” in Moscow on Thursday, June 23, the actor hopes McDreamy has a romantic exit with his wife Meredith Grey.
“I think they should go off in the sunset together, quite honestly,” Dempsey said of his character and Ellen Pompeo’s, who made their marriage official to adopt a baby in season 7. He added, “I think they should maintain it, and he should leave as McDreamy as possible I think.”
Asked if season 8 will be the last for him, he said, “I don’t know what’s gonna happen with the show – I don’t think they do either.” The Dylan Gould of the third “Transformers” film previously sparked rumor that he might leave the show after the upcoming season.
However, his representative soon dismissed it, stating “He was referring to the fact that his contract is up at the end of next season and we have no idea what the future holds.”

You can always expect drama on Grey’s Anatomy when Meredith and Lexie’s father, Thatcher (Jeff Perry), drops in on his doctor daughters. And there’s more in store on the February 10 episode of the ABC drama, when old Thatch returns complaining of stomach pains. “They suspect he’s rejecting the [partial] liver Meredith gave him,” says Jeff, who is unaware of the character’s ultimate fate.
But what causes Lexie (Chyler Leigh) the most heartache is seeing her daddy dating Danielle (All My Children alum Alexa Havins), a heavily tattooed girl her same age. “He met her in AA,” explains Jeff. “They were taken with each other and fell in love, which horrifies Lexie.”
Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), meanwhile, shrugs off her father’s latest escapade. “She’s bemused,” says Jeff. “But keeps a safe distance.”
While not exactly boasting a future arsenal of A-Listers that rivaled Freaks And Geeks, ABC’s critically acclaimed My So-Called Life was a bit of a star launching vehicle in its own right. Everyone remembers Claire Danes as narrator and main character Angela Chase, as well as her dyslexic rebel of a boyfriend played by Jared Leto, but they’re not the only ones still alive and thriving in Hollywood.
According to Zap2It, Wilson Cruz, best known for playing the openly gay Rickie Vasquez on My So-Called Life, will be appearing in an upcoming Grey’s Anatomy episode
. The thirty-seven year old will feature as a man shaken by his partner’s strange accident on the couple’s wedding day.
