Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 1 Yes, Then Zero : OUR FAVORITE UPPER EAST SIDERS ON THE WEST COAST! PLUS, PREGNANCY MYSTERY SOLVED, ROYAL WEDDING IN THE WORKS AND GUEST STAR ELIZABETH HURLEY — Serena (Blake Lively) loves her new job in Hollywood, but makes a costly misstep when she tries to impress her boss (guest star Michael Michele). Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Nate (Chace Crawford) arrive in Los Angeles as the last stop of their Lost Summer trip, joining Serena at a glamorous Hollywood Hills party, where Nate meets a sexy older woman (guest star Elizabeth Hurley). Blair (Leighton Meester) and Louis (guest star Hugo Becker) return from Monaco and begin planning their royal wedding, but when Louis refuses to stand up to his family and support Blair’s choices, his weakness threatens their relationship. The CW has officially announced that “The Vampire Diaries“, “Gossip Girl“, “Supernatural“, “90210” and “America’s Next Top Model” are picked up for new season. The renewal for “Vampire Diaries” has been expected as it has become the network’s most-watched show. The drama fantasy will return for a third season.
“Gossip Girl”, meanwhile, is The CW’s second most popular series. The teen drama will be back for its fifth season and will hit its 100th episode next season. As for “Supernatural”, it has maintained steady numbers in its Friday night time slot which is TV’s toughest night. The show will return for its seventh season.
“90210″, which is the network’s most DVRed series, will be back for its fourth season. The pick-up for “Top Model”, meanwhile, means the show will return in the fall with its first-ever All-Star Edition, featuring breakout characters from past cycles.
Still awaiting decision are “One Tree Hill“, “Hellcats” and “Nikita“. Most cast of “Hill”, however, have officially signed on for a ninth season if there is.

Gossip Girl Season 4 Episode 12 The Kids Are Not Alright : MICHAEL BOATMAN (“THE GOOD WIFE”) AND TIKA SUMPTER (“ONE LIFE TO LIVE”) GUEST STAR — A former associate of Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) father, Russell Thorpe (Boatman) – along with his daughter Raina (Sumpter) – returns to Manhattan with some unfinished business for our Upper East Siders. Serena (Blake Lively) and Chuck join forces against Lily (Kelly Rutherford). Blair (Leighton Meester) realizes that her mother, Eleanor (guest star Margaret Colin), may be her key to becoming a future CEO. “Gossip Girl” is having a break until next year, but a preview for what’s to come in the first episode of the TV show in 2011 has been shared. A continuation to “The Townie” which features Blair and Dan tracking down an MIA Juliet, it will have “The Kids Are Not Alright” with the tagline “expect the unexpected”.
Almost at the same time, “90210” has a clip coming out to tease their next episode which is also airing in January 2011. With the New Year comes new resolution like to be more positive, to be more accepting, and to be more not hooking up with your best friend’s boyfriend.
After more than a month in hiatus, both of the TV series will have their next episodes air on January 24.
