After scoring an interview with the Kardashians, Oprah Winfrey may return the favor by appearing on the famed family’s reality show. It has been reported that the “Oprah’s Next Chapter” host has agreed to guest star on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians“.
A source told Us Weekly that the former daytime talk-show queen “was so enamored with the clan” that “Oprah signed the release!,” meaning that footage from her recent visit to the family’s pad can be used on the E! reality show.
The source additionally gushed that Winfrey and Khloe Kardashian bonded during the interview. “She and Khloe especially hit it off. Khloe had her dying laughing,” the source revealed. “It meant so much because she loves Oprah!”
Kim Kardashian, meanwhile, almost made Winfrey cry when talking about her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries. “I’ve obviously made plenty of mistakes in my lifetime, but I’m not the type to sit and beat myself up over it. If a real lesson was learned, I’m so okay with having experienced that,” the 31-year-old reality star confessed, to which the host reply, “That is so perfect I could weep.”
The Kardashians drew a big rating for OWN, with the second-part of the interview aired on Sunday, June 24 pulling in 1.2 million viewers. It was up 9% from the first part, which aired the week before.
Although the family’s appearance gave a boost to the struggling network’s rating, Lisa Ling who serves as a special correspondent for Winfrey’s cable channel recently said, “I had my issues with the Kardashians, absolutely. I think there’s so much wrong with how they are the most revered family in the country, but they are, nevertheless.”
Still, she understood Winfrey’s decision to enlist them on her talk show. “So I get why Oprah wanted to interview them. I mean, they are icons in pop culture right now,” the journalist told Access Hollywood Live. “People are interested in what they think about things for some strange reason.”

The Kardashians are here to stay. Their reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” has just been renewed by E! for three more years including the upcoming 18-episode seventh season which kicks off May 20.
The show will feature all the family members such as Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Lamar Odom, Scott Disick, the parents and the youngest sisters, Kendall and Kylie. Under the new deal, the clan will automatically give the first-look exclusives for the show.
According to THR, Ryan Seacrest has yet to finalize his deal covering the next three years, but is expected to do so as part of an upcoming agreement with NBC Universal. The series is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions.
“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is the network’s highest-rated and most-watched series of all time. The sixth season had more than 3 millions in total viewers.

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has quit as a spokesperson for animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) following reports suggesting a militant member of the organization was the woman who flour bombed her sister Kim at an event last week.
Kim Kardashian was pelted with flour minutes after she arrived at a charity event in West Hollywood on Thursday night. The attack was reportedly prompted by the socialite’s refusal to stop wearing fur.
PETA bosses insisted the flour attack had nothing to do with them as Kardashian threatened to press charges against the group.
And now her little sister has stepped down as one of the organization’s famous faces following the latest news about the incident.
In a post on her blog on Monday, she wrote, “I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior.
“Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution and I won’t be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise.”
Animal lover Khloe Kardashian caused a stir in 2008 when she stripped for one of PETA’s I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur’ billboards.
A PETA spokeswoman says, “Khloe is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister.”

LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian says she never meant to hurt anyone by ending her marriage after just 72 days. 
The 31-year-old reality star posted a message to her fans on her website Tuesday, one day after filing for divorce from Kris Humphries, whom she married in a lavish ceremony that aired as a two-hour TV special on E!
Kardashian says that while she “married for love” and “would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show,” she admits that she “got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show.”
“When I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and I didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people,” she writes.
Kardashian says she takes “full responsibility for my actions and decisions,” adding “it just didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.”
“I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon,” she says.
Kardashian and Humphries dated for nine months before marrying in August.
She goes on to say that reports that she made millions of dollars off the wedding “are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this.”
One photo showed the happy wedding couple gazing adoringly at each other above large type that read, “If you think gay marriage cheapens the institution, two words… Kim Kardashian.”
In her post, Kardashian says she plans to “donate the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.”
