Dimly based on the life of forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, “Bones” is a police procedural drama TV Show which focuses on a series of FBI case files shrouded in mystery. Sometimes, to unravel a murder, you have to strip it to the bone and that’s what this show is doing… literally. When the human remains are badly burned, decomposed or destroyed, when traditional identification methods are in vain, FBI needs Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan’s help. A forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington D.C., but also a best selling crime novelist, she has the ability to read clues left behind in a victim’s bones. While most people don’t understand her skill, intelligence and the way she struggles to unriddle each case, FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth is the exception. A former sniper, he didn’t trust in science or scientists who go at a crawl, but he realized that his team and Dr. Temperance Brennan’s knowledge are a fiendish combination.

A drama in real time, “24″ follows Agent Jack Bauer, a key member of CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit), as he struggles to prevent major terrorist attacks on the United States. Along with his elite team, Jack saves both government administrations and civilian lives. He isn’t an ordinary Agent, giving taste of his abilities when it comes to firearms (typically the SIG P229 or USP Compact), electronic devices, explosives, resistance to interrogation and also the ability to understand Spanish and Russian. Still, things get out of hand when the villains whose plans he thwarted target him and his loved ones. Each season of this series takes place within one 24 hour period.

Lie to Me Season 2 Episode 20 : When “Lie to Me” comes back next week, someone will be kidnapped and the unlucky guy is Dave Burns who is played by guest star Max Martini. He gets beaten pretty bad and has to face Tim Roth’s DR. Cal Lightman with bloody face.


Dave is DR. Gillian Foster’s boyfriend whom Lightman tries to track down with the help of Burns’ mysterious ex-partner after going missing. Beside Max Martini, the other guest stars include Danai Gurira, Keston John, Edward Hendershott, Darrell Lake, Christopher Stanley and Carmen Argenziano.

Previously on “Lie to Me”, Lightman must re-visit a case from 17 years ago. Lauren Froderman Wins ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

On Thursday, August 12, “So You Think You Can Dance” has crowned a new winner. Lauren Froderman beat the odds when she was voted as America’s favorite dancer in the finale, leaving Kent Boyd and Robert Roldan in the second and third place respectively.


Lauren’s victory came across as both predictable and surprise. Statistically, Lauren has only been in the bottom three once but the clean record is actually attained by Kent. Moreover, the audience seemed to be leaning on male contestants this season with the elimination of the female dancers three times in a row in the beginning of the season.

“There’s a ton of things I’d like to say,” 18-year-old Lauren said between tears and laughter upon finding out that she’s a winner. “But I can’t!” Host Cat Deeley then helped her, saying “Just a giant thank you.”

The finale night was also glittered with the performance a 7-year-old tap dancer, this season’s injured-but-recovering contestant Alex Wong, and Ellen DeGeneres.

TCA Awards Winners: ‘Glee’, ‘Lost’ and More

“Glee” continues to dominate award events as the FOX series was announced as the recipient of Program of the Year at the Television Critics Association Awards. Taking the honor on Saturday, July 31, the show also went home with two others, Outstanding New Program and Individual Achievement in Comedy for Jane Lynch.

“She is our joy and delight,” show creator Ryan Murphy said of Lynch at the acceptance speech. After the ceremony was wrapped, Murphy said, as quoted by NY Daily News, that the biggest satisfaction actually is “letters from teachers saying they can’t cut my program now, because [thanks to 'Glee'] my program now has gone from seven members to 40.”

Also getting some love from the TCA are “Lost” and “Breaking Bad” which is in tie for Outstanding Achievement in Drama. Tom Hanks’ miniseries which aired on HBO, “The Pacific”, was also a winner along with Julianna Margulies of “The Good Wife“.
