Community Season 2 Episode 1 Anthropology 101 : 09/23/2010 (08:00PM – 08:30PM) (Thursday) : THE CAST OF “COMMUNITY” GETS SCHOOLED BY LEGENDARY AWARD-WINNING GUEST STAR BETTY WHITE — As classes resume at Greendale Community College for the fall, the “Community” study group gathers to tackle this year’s big class, “Anthropology 101. ” Television icon and multiple Emmy Award-winner Betty White (“The Golden Girls”) guest stars as the esteemed, but slightly unhinged anthropology professor, June Bauer. Jeff Winger (Joel McHale), struggles to establish decorum with Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Annie (Alison Brie) amidst the confusion that ensued at the season finale’s “Transfer Dance,” when Britta professed her love for Jeff and Jeff later shared a secret kiss with Annie. Meanwhile, Señor Chang (Ken Jeong) decides to enroll as a student at Greendale Community College so that he too, can join the study group. Chevy Chase, Donald Glover, Danny Pudi and Yvette Nicole Brown also star.

05/13/2010 (08:00PM – 08:30PM) (Thursday) : THE TRUTH ABOUT SE OR CHANG IS REVEALED – After the shocking discovery that Se or Chang (Ken Jeong) does not have a teaching degree, Greendale Community College is forced to bring in a new Spanish teacher. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) discovers a trade he truly excels in — plumbing. Joel McHale, Chevy Chase, Gillian Jacobs, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Danny Pudi also star.
On Friday, March 5, NBC announces that its Thursday comedies, “Community“, “The Office” and “30 Rock” will be back for another season. The Peacock has previously revealed too that another Thursday line-up “Parks and Recreation” has been renewed.
“We are happy to give these early pickups to these critically acclaimed, incredibly funny comedies,” said Angela Bromstad, NBC’s prime-time entertainment president. “As a result, we look forward to continuing our rewarding partnership with the respective creative teams and talented show-runners for ’30 Rock’, ‘The Office’ and ‘Community’ as they all consistently deliver quality shows.”
Cast of “Community” has since invaded Twitter to reveal their excitement for season 2. “We just got called into the make-up trailer and told that WE GOT PICKED UP FOR A SECOND SEASON!!! Yay! More #Community next year, guys! 
” Yvette Nicole Brown tweeted. Meanwhile, Danny Pudi wrote, “Drizzle drizzle! NBC picked us up for Season 2 of Greendale shennanigans. Thank YOU for watching and Thank YOU cast/crew for the best job!”
On another news, NBC recently confirmed that it would air the Primetime Emmy Awards live on both coasts this August.
