Law & Order: SVU Season 12 Episode 1 and 2 Locum/Bullseye : 09/22/2010 (09:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : DETECTIVES OLIVIA BENSON (MARISKA HARGITAY) AND ELIOT STABLER (CHRISTOPHER MELONI) HELP A FOSTER COUPLE (GUEST STARS JOAN CUSACK AND PETER STRAUSS) FIND THEIR MISSING CHILD A foster couple (Cusack and Strauss) call Detectives Benson (Hargitay) and Stabler (Meloni) to the scene of the crime when their ten-year-old adopted daughter disappears. It soon comes to light that she ran away to meet with a man named Erik Weber (guest star Henry Ian Cusick), whom she met on the internet and whom Benson and Stabler suspect of ulterior motives regarding the girl. Weber denies any wrongdoing, and also expresses romantic interest in Benson. However, as the investigation continues, the detectives realize that the girl’s foster parents may be hiding something that could change the entire course of the case. They arrive to find her so traumatized that she cannot even tell them her name. With the help of Detectives Odafin Tutuola (Ice-T) and John Munch (Richard Belzer), they are able to identify the young victim. But they soon realize that her home life is far from normal as Dr. George Huang (B.D. Wong) discovers that her mother suffers from a rare condition that renders her unable to recognize that the young girl is, in fact, her daughter. When the detectives find themselves without a lead, Erik Weber (guest star Henry Ian Cusick), a man they met on their previous case, decides to get involved. But he may be overstepping his bounds. Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) orchestrates a movement to catch the rapist, and a rookie cop (guest star Graham Davie) makes an arrest. Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Eliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) confirm that they’ve found their man, but after ADA Jo Marlowe (guest star Sharon Stone) expresses some doubts, it is soon discovered that the so-called rookie may have some secrets of his own. Even when someone is arrested for a similar offense, ADA Jo Marlowe (guest star Sharon Stone) says she doesn’t have a case in court unless they find the victim and get a statement from her. Soon, Benson and Stabler connect the woman to an illegal adoption operation, forcing them to go undercover and expose the truth. Soon after a young girl, Laine McAlister (guest star Diora Baird), is raped in her apartment building’s stairwell, Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Eliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) meet Laine in the hospital and find her extremely shaken with a large cut on her hand. After an unpleasant exchange with a man she claims is her boyfriend, the detectives become suspicious that she may have fabricated her rape to get attention. Their suspicions grow when she waits to reveal that there was an eyewitness. As the gravity of the situation intensifies, Benson and Stabler find themselves in a race to track down the witness and get a testimony before it is too late. When a rich and powerful couple with political connections is found murdered in their bedroom, Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) decide to speak to the deceased couple’s daughter, Anne (guest star Sarah Paulson), for more information. After hearing Anne’s account of a nefarious man who has been following her, the detectives soon discover that Anne’s supposed stalker is none other than Detective Ash Ramsey (guest star Naveen Andrews) of the Special Frauds division. Convinced that Anne killed her parents for their money, Ramsey becomes suspicious of Anne’s business manager and is led to believe that he helped her steal money from the foundation she runs. When blackmail and embezzlement come into play, the detectives find that their lives may be at risk over a girl with some serio! us parent issues. When seventeen year-old Andrea McWilliams is found strangled and beaten to death in an alley, her ex-boyfriend leads the cops to a website that McWilliams used to meet up with random men . Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) decides to create a user account for the site and finds womanizer Peter Butler (guest star Brian Geraghty), the man who met up with McWilliams. The case is closed when a different suspect is proven guilty of her murder, and a new one opens when McWilliams rape kit tests positive for HIV. Not only is HIV spreading as a result of countless attacks, but now the detectives must also catch a rapist on the loose. Also starring: Chris Meloni (Detective Elliot Stabler), Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen), Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch), Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Stephanie March (ADA Alexandra Cabot), B.D.
