Showtime has picked up British series Secret Diary Of Call Girl for its fourth and final season. Lead actress Billie Piper will once again reprise her role as Belle/Hannah, a high-end call girl leading a double life.
Production of the fourth season will start in London this August. Season four, which will be comprised of eight, half-hour episodes, will follow Belle (Billie Piper), an internationally successful author, torn between her career and her feelings for her best friend Ben (Iddo Goldberg). Additionally, season four will feature a storyline where the high-end London call girl visits New York City.
Synopsis: Based on “The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl” by Belle De Jour, Secret Diary of a Call Girl is an eye-opening look into the world of a high-end call girl leading a double life. To her friends and family she is “Hannah,” a legal secretary clocking in regular hours and enjoying a “normal” life. To her clients, she is “Belle,” the answer to all of their fantasies. Her challenge is to keep her two lives separate, yet inevitably, they begin to blur.

Showtime has signed up for a fourth and final season of “Secret Diary of a Call Girl.”
The premium cable network will run another round of the U.K.-based comedy series, which chronicles the adventures of a British escort played by Billie Piper. The season will be the last for the show, whose fate on both shores had been uncertain in recent weeks.
Season 4 includes eight half-hour episodes continuing the story of Belle, a writer torn between her secret career and her feelings for best friend Ben. The series likely will return early next year.
Piper recently was quoted as saying the series could be adapted into a feature film.

Synopsis: Secret Diary of a Call Girl Season 3 Episode 4 – Belle can no longer deny her attraction to Duncan but he’s keeping it professional, suggesting she find a kinky client for her next chapter. At Ben’s bar, Belle discovers Ben wants to end it with her sister Jackie, but is too scared to do it himself. Bambi then lets it slip that Byron has stopped paying her. Belle urges Bambi to end it – Byron is a client, not a boyfriend. Even though Ben ends up taking her advice by breaking up with Jackie and Bambi ends it with Byron, Belle later disobeys all of her rules with Duncan.
