A story-telling doctor’s deal with the devil sends him scrambling to save his daughter on the eve of her 16th birthday.
Hopes were high that this could be Gilliam’s finest masterpiece yet, but its trailer left us thinking this might be more like a collection of his greatest hits. If it doesn’t collapse under the weight of its own amazing visuals, stellar cast and curiosity over Heath’s farewell performance, then we may have a new favorite Gilliam movie on our hands. If it does, well, then at least it looks pretty.
