Hmm, if anyone out there really wants to go see a super-formulaic romance that turns two likable actors into two icky characters, let me know if you truly enjoyed The Ugly Truth, whose plot is more schematic than Heigl and Butler’s planned career trajectories. I’ll be one theater over, watching something slightly more tolerable, like the movie version of a Disney TV show, or an ill-advised sequel.
P.S. At least it doesn’t star Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey!
