FlashForward – Picked Up For Full Season

ABC is on roll, the network is giving “FlashForward” a full-season pickup.

The ABC Studios mystery-drama has performed admirably for the network in its competitive Thursday-night time period and has been well-liked by critics. It’s premiere was the first regular scripted series since “Friends” to beat CBS’ “Survivor” in the time period. It’s also boosted the time period by 32% compared to “Ugly Betty” in the spot last year.

“FlashForward” still hasn’t shown where its going to settle in the ratings. Last Thursday’s performance was a 3.0 in the adult demo, slipping into second place behind CBS’ “Survivor.”

Last Thursday, ABC picked up comedies “Modern Family,” “The Middle” and “Cougar Town.”
