Episode Synopsis: Mercy Season 1 Episode 9 “Some of Us Have Been to the Desert” – Veronica (Taylor Schilling) attends a veterans’ support group to deal with her PTSD, while also grappling with her crumbling marriage and her father’s downward spiral into Alzheimer’s disease. Still, she remains focused on her charming young cystic fibrosis patient in dire need of a lung transplant. Meanwhile, Sonia (Jaime Lee Kirchner) helps a young mother wrestling with her decision to give her newborn up for adoption. Also, when Dr. Harris (James LeGros) suffers a bizarre and incapacitating injury, Chloe (Michelle Trachtenberg) gets stuck with the most difficult kind of patient – a doctor. Diego Klattenhoff, Guillermo Diaz , Kate Mulgrew and Peter Gerety and also star.
