Syfy Special Holiday 2009 Programming

To celebrate the holiday season, Syfy decorates its schedule with a wide range of programming treats from paranormal visitors to deep space drama. Running Wednesday, December 23, through Saturday, January 2, the 11-day festival is highlighted by the traditional New Year’s Eve, 46-hour marathon of the TV classic The Twilight Zone.

Syfy kicks off the holiday festival with ghosts of Christmas past, a twenty-eight episode marathon of Ghost Hunters. The best of the #1 paranormal investigative series on television runs Wednesday, December 23, from 7PM-12AM (ET/PT), resuming Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, from 8AM-5AM (ET/PT).

On Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, Syfy presents a Stargate Universe marathon during the 8:30AM-5:30PM
(ET/PT) time period, followed on Saturday, December 26, by a different twist on the season of giving with Saw I, Saw II and Saw III airing 4:30-9PM (ET/PT).

The annual The Twilight Zone marathon starts Thursday, December 31, at 8AM (ET/PT), and throughout Friday, January 1, before concluding at 6AM
(ET/PT) Saturday, January 2. This year’s theme is “Twist Endings,” featuring uncut episodes and special interstitials, airing December 31 and January 1 from
7PM-12AM (ET/PT).
