An inmate serving 25 years for murder tells Jane he has info on Red John’s whereabouts, but only if Jane helps him prove his innocence first. A convicted murderer convinces Jane to help prove his innocence by telling Jane that he’ll give him information on Red John. Jane quits CBI to devote all of his time to getting him released.
