Wesley Snipes, ‘Game of Death’ film bring choppers to downtown Detroit

No, it wasn’t a military drill — according to Crain’s Detroit Business, it was another movie shoot.
This time, Wesley Snipes (“Blade”) is in town shooting the action film “Game of Death” (no relation to the Bruce Lee movie by the same name).
According to IMDb, the film is an action thriller about the botched assassination attempt of a diplomat. When the diplomat lands in the hospital, it’s up to a nurse to shelter the victim from further harm.
The film has already made it into the blog worstpreviews.com, but who knows, maybe Snipes will redeem himself with this one.
Snipes is currently out on bail and appealing a 2008 conviction for tax fraud.
“Game of Death” also stars Quentin Tarantino’s favorite stunt double Zoe Bell, who appeared in “Kill Bill” Vol. 1 and 2 and “Death Proof.”
