Are Married at First Sight’s Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner Still Together? – The famous couple from Season 1 of “Married at First Sight,” Jamie Otis and Dough Hehner, return to the spotlight on their own spin-off, “Jamie and Doug Plus One.” Jamie and Doug begin the next stage of their lives—parenthood—three years after their wedding.
They try to be ready for the first child, Henley Grace, of a couple featured on “Married at First Sight” while navigating motherhood’s emotional ups and downs, including a prior miscarriage of a son, Johnathan. To find the new normal, Jamie and Doug must steer clear of the altar and proceed directly to the crib. Only a small percentage of happy “Married at First Sight” unions continue to be together.
Viewers could tell when Jamie and Doug first met during MAFS season 1 in 2014 that they instantly clicked. The pair experienced a pleasant transition period and remained married following Decision Day, despite Jamie initially expressing some reservations, notably given her desire for Doug. Jamie and Doug are still in a happy marriage eight years later. Henley, age four, and Hendrix, who turns two on May 13, are their two children. Jamie and Doug admitted last January that they would sell their house and move into an RV, although they had some rocky patches in their marriage, like any other couple.

Jamie and Doug are living proof that their marriage worked since they are still very much in love.

In December 2022, Jamie posted a video on Instagram that included the words, “It’s so lovely to see what happened from two ‘crazy’ souls wanting to marry a stranger for real love.” The film also featured images from each year of their relationship. Look at this lovely little family we’ve built, I mean.”
In March 2022, Jamie remembered how they had met unusually as they approached their eighth wedding anniversary. The couple stated they have no regrets about how they met after seeing that people “laughed and humiliated” them for turning to the reality show to find love.
She said, “I went through with #marriedatfirstsight though bc I desperately wanted a family. I wanted someone to share my life with. I got that and so much more in my hubby, @doughehner. We will forever be thankful to everyone at MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT (you know who you are) who believed in this crazy concept and somehow convinced us to believe in it too.”

Jamie and Doug have debuted their downsized home for their Instagram followers and MAFS viewers after enlisting the help of RV Family Renovators to create it. In the condensed tour, Doug amusingly displays the living room area, bedrooms, and kitchen while lip-syncing to a voice asking, “Would you look at that?” In addition to a full-sized fridge and an oven with three burners, the Hehners’ RV proudly displays the washing and dryer housed within their master bedroom. Even though their house is smaller, the Hehners’ environment appears spacious, inviting, and cozy.
After giving followers another tour on their YouTube channel, Hanging With The Hehners, the Hehners’ new contemporary home is showcased in more images published by In Touch Weekly. Henley and Hendrix’s room has a toddler bed, a crib, and a half-bath hidden in it. The kitchen is outfitted with blue cabinets and stainless steel appliances.
On May 1, Doug disclosed additional information, including the fact that the family had been formally residing in their RV for a month and had previously visited Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Arkansas, and Texas. Their trips have only begun, according to Doug, who said that their RV would soon begin travelling in the direction of the West Coast.
Fans are pleased to see that one of the first marriages on the show is still going strong since Jamie and Doug have come a long way since they first met on MAFS season 1.
