Ben’s fascination led him to adopt a snake as his first pet. He then embarked on his journey to become a snake breeder. Ben used his expertise of the species and grasp of genetics to apply selective breeding to create snakes of various colours and patterns.
Ben specialised in giant ball pythons and anacondas, which he sold for tens of thousands of dollars as “designer pythons.”
