Copenhagen Cowboy Season 2 Renewed or Cancelled?

Copenhagen Cowboy renewed

Copenhagen Cowboy Season 2 – Nicolas Winding Refn created the Netflix original noir-thriller series Copenhagen Cowboy. The series follows Miu (Angela Bundalovic), a renegade who embarked on a journey for vengeance while making her way through Copenhagen’s criminal underground. This is Refn’s first Danish-language effort since Pusher 3 (2005).

After giving her life to an unidentified organisation for years, a young, mysterious rebel named Miu is now looking for her archenemy, Rakel. She would go on a natural and “supernatural” quest to seek justice and retribution against her foe while traversing Copenhagen’s dark criminal underworld. She would also reflect on her past and how certain facets of her and her nemesis’ relationships related to it.

Copenhagen Cowboy is a noir-thriller that follows Miu (Angela Bundalovic) in her quest for vengeance in the criminal underbelly of the Danish city after his 2019 miniseries Too Old To Die Young.

Fleur Frilund, Lola Corfixen, Zlatko Buric, Andreas Lykke Jrgensen, Jason Hendil-Forssell, Li li Zhang, and Dragana Milutinovic are also featured in the cast of the program.

According to the official announcement, Copenhagen Cowboy will not have a second season on Netflix. But Winding Refn has indicated that he would like to make a sequel.

Regarding a second season, the director told Cineuropa.org: “We’ve written a treatment, so let’s see. I would not mind at all.

It may also rely on the director’s timetable because Winding Refn stated in discussion with Deadline that he hopes to make a movie “next year.”

The director’s latest film, Copenhagen Cowboy, is the first to be set in his native Denmark in more than 15 years. The Pusher trilogy, a line of Danish crime movies set in Copenhagen, was directed by him in the past.
