The “Love is Blind” Journey of Shaina and Christos
Shaina first met contractor Christos (or Chris) in 2019 while on Facetime with the latter through a common friend, only to “immediately [fall] in love with him].” The hairdresser did want to date him immediately, but she revealed in the reality show that “it was one of those instances when it was the perfect man, bad timing.” Before disclosing they reconnected after “seeing one other at a wedding in Greece,” Shaina said, “It’s funny how God works because He brought him back into my life in His perfect timing.”
Chris had been first drawn to Shaina’s voice, but because he was constantly working, he was just unable to give her the time and dedication necessary to make things work. He claimed that he was equally committed to his job, but added that “your heart grows fonder, right? Either it does if you care about someone, or it doesn’t,” and after the encounter in Greece, it did for him.
Chris said, “When I’m away from her, like, I miss her. If you miss the person you’re with, you know that’s it. So, I feel that all the time because they’re your best friend, they’re your soulmate.“
Shaina and Chris’ strong bond was undoubtedly based on their shared sense of humor, core values, and personalities, but they also strengthened it by acting on their statements. Because of how much they trusted one another, when the other heard reports about Shaina and Shane, a former attraction, sending inappropriate DMs, they didn’t even bat an eye. Later, it appears that she did reveal to her new fiancé—he had proposed the previous evening—the letters herself, merely for him to laugh because he didn’t find anything at all sensational or filthy in them.
Are Christos and Shaina Still Together?
Within a year of their relationship (around March 2022), Christos really proposed to Shaina, who was completely taken aback because she had no idea what to expect. Of course, she responded, “Yes!” Therefore, we’re pleased to report that the couple is not only still together but also just got married and celebrated the event in Greece, a country that holds special meaning for both of them. On July 2, Shaina and Christos were married in a short ceremony at the courthouse. On July 21, they were married once more at the Island Art & Taste-Gallery Venue in Vouliagmeni.
The darling daughter of the groom was present for both ceremonies. Christos and Shaina appear to be happier than ever right now, especially because neither of them is afraid to flaunt their relationship. In fact, her spouse shared a picture of her on social media with the message, “Happy Birthday @shaina.hurley. My queen 👸. You have a beautiful, kind soul. My soulmate forever. Thank you for everything you do for us.“
Additionally, as can be seen above, she just shared a cute photo of the two of them together along with the caption, “Ye are Blood of my Blood, and Bone of my Bone. I give ye my Body, that we Two might be One. I give ye my Spirit, ’til our Life shall be Done… [Outlander] fans will get it.” Therefore, we wish Shaina and Christos a future full of more love, understanding, and success as they now experience a married pleasure.
