Lisa Ebberson My 600-lb Life Update: TLC’s ‘My 600-lb Life,’ which premiered in 2012, has been chronicling the inspiring stories of highly obese people trying to make a fresh start.

There is a lot more to the storey than just the risky medical procedures they’re ready to take in order to live a longer, better life.

Since Dr. Now works with a wide range of clients, it’s not surprising that some are able to achieve their goals while others – like Lisa Ebberson — find it much more difficult. So, that’s the lowdown on her.

Lisa Ebberson‘s unhealthy relationship with food was also the result of trauma, which is the case for the majority of people who are battling with some sort of consuming dependence.

Like most members of her family, the Fairbury, Nebraska native has always been a little on the larger side.

However, considering their difficult upbringing, no one paid any attention to it. It was Lisa’s storey on the television show that her father was an excellent man until the day he started drinking when he transformed into an alcoholic and began abusing her mother.

Lisa and her sisters had to take care of themselves most of the time because their mother had to work full-time to provide for their family, so they ate a lot of fast and easy junk food.

Lisa confessed on the episode that she was raped at the age of 13 by two men in a residence she mistakenly thought belonged to a friend and that this was the catalyst for her binge/stress eating.

As a result, Lisa resolved to never again allow herself to be touched without her consent, and she began to overeat, a trend that unfortunately continued with the passage of time, her teen pregnancy, and other failed romantic relationships.

Since Lisa had been bed-bound for over four years by the time she reached her 51st birthday, the doctors feared she would break her ankle if they allowed her to get out of bed without losing weight.

Ultimately, Lisa’s health problems, the shame she felt for not being able to help her partner of ten years Randy with household chores, and the worry that she would miss out on any time with their grandchildren led her to seek a life of change.

For a while, Lisa seemed adamant about completing Dr. Now’s extensive regimen, including physical therapy, but she soon changed her mind and tried to wriggle out of it.

As a result of Lisa Ebberson’s unreceptive and uncooperative characteristics, she yelled at her dietician and therapist, as well as called Dr. Now nasty, along her journey.

The two had lost touch for nearly four months despite being enrolled in his weight-loss programme until she was hospitalised with COVID-19 and tragically lost Randy to the disease.

During her stay in the hospital, she lost 83 pounds, so it seemed like she had a wake-up call and began taking the process seriously at that point.

Despite her grief, Lisa Ebberson sought help from a counsellor. After a few weeks, Lisa returned to her old ways and ended her relationship with Dr. Now. Because of this, the only thing we know about her is that she still lives in Fairbury, Nebraska.

We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours and hope she finds happiness.
