Who is Janice Dickinson

Janice Dickinson, who is she?

Janice Dickinson began her modelling career in New York City, New York, in the early 1970s. She built up a solid body of work over the next few years, eventually becoming one of the industry’s most well-known faces.

Janice was also the face of various brands’ commercial campaigns by the 1980s. Janice claimed in 2014 that Bill Cosby sexually raped her in 1982 when she was around 27 years old.

Janice says she met with Cosby through an agent for a possible part on ‘The Cosby Show‘ in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Cosby later invited Janice to join him at Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where he was playing at the time. They discussed growing her singing career there, and she worked with Cosby’s musical director.

Janice claimed she had cramps after supper, for which he allegedly gave her medication. She became bewildered quickly.

“The next morning, I wasn’t wearing my pyjamas,” Janice later explained, “and I realised I had been sexually attacked by this man before I passed asleep.”

Janice went into greater depth during her evidence at Bill Cosby’s trial in 2018. “I didn’t consent to this,” she said, adding that she was “made lifeless” in the hotel room.

America’s Dad‘ was standing on top of me. On top of me is a married man with five children. I was thinking about how incorrect it was. What a colossal blunder.”

Janice was questioned by Cosby’s defence about the discrepancies between her testimony and her account of the alleged occurrence in her 2002 biography.

“It’s all a lie there because I needed the income for my kids,” she acknowledged while on the stand, admitting that the ghostwriter took some liberties with her storey.

Janice also stated that she did not include details about the alleged sexual assault in her book because the legal department of the publishing house would not have allowed it to be published.

I have recurring dreams; I wake up terrified, and I am terrified of the dark. Even with my six-year-old husband, I find it difficult to talk about this.”

Janice Dickinson was a judge on ‘America’s Next Top Model‘ and had her own reality show, ‘The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency,’ in addition to her modelling career.

She revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in 2016. She appears to be living with her husband, Dr. Robert Gerner, in Los Angeles, California, now.
