‘Love on the Spectrum U.S.,’ a Netflix original dating reality series with equal parts instructive and heartwarming, is a derivative of the successful Australian original. That’s because it not only follows a group of neurodivergent individuals as they explore the world of romance, but it also gently addresses the myths that surround their existence.

Love on the Spectrum US: Who is James?
According to his narrative, James was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at a young age. Still, it was difficult for him to receive care because “society did not have a strong understanding” of it or autism at the time. Unfortunately, he had to deal with a lot of bullying from his classmates at school, which had an undeniable impact on his conduct and self-esteem, but he managed to avoid letting it define him in the long term.
Despite his anxiousness, James had grown into a confident young man because of the love and support of his parents and younger brother. James admitted that he had to practise being around other people for years, but with the laid-back manner in which the 34-year-old showed us around his room, we would have never thought.
The seemingly outgoing Renaissance Faire fan’s surroundings matched his interests, especially given the “conversation pieces” he’d accumulated over the years. Among the many items on display were numerous excellent books, crystals (which James admitted “are obviously not for any practical purpose”), rare stamps, a couple of swords, and a preserved alligator head, to name a few.
That’s when James said that he’d been “unquestionably” ready for a long time to discover his genuine life partner, so he’d even joined up for a couple of online dating services (to no avail). The real process of the docuseries then led him to Emma, with whom he had two fantastic dates, a dinner and a trip to the New York Renaissance Faire, albeit she later admitted to only seeing him as a friend. Despite his obvious unhappiness in the following moments, James’ patience and kindness were astounding, and they exactly reflected him.
What Happened to James and Where Is He Now?
According to what we can determine, James is still living with his loving family in Boston, and his search for love is still underway. In ‘Love on the Spectrum U.S.,’ he remarked, “I’m seeking a partner, a soul mate with whom I can spend my life,” implying that his ideal companion is someone who is understanding, has good hygiene, and is moderately attractive.
The 34-year-old hasn’t given up hope that there is someone for everyone, and with good reason! As a result, he appears to be actively navigating the volatile realm of relationships. Furthermore, despite the fact that we were unable to locate James on any social media platforms at this time, it has been stated that he and Emma remain close friends.
