Where is Ex-FLDS Church Member ‘Sarah Draper’ Now? – Warren Jeffs, the president of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was found guilty of sexually assaulting children in 2011. Authorities had discovered some incredibly distressing details about the polygamist and secretive cult by that time, including Warren taking underage marriages, sexually assaulting youngsters, and a pervasive atmosphere of fear-based worship.

Preaching Evil: A Wife on the Run With Warren Jeffs,’ by Peacock, sheds light on how everything functioned and Warren’s time on the run. Sarah Draper, a former FLDS member, revealed her tale and what she has seen early on.

So, if you’re curious about how she’s doing today, you’re in luck.

Sarah Draper: Who Is She?

Rulon Jeffs, the former president of the FLDS and Warren’s father, was Sarah’s grandfather. She recalls being close to Rulon on the show. Sarah described her existence as a member of the group as “quite normal,” despite the fact that they had no contact with the outside world. Warren, on the other hand, began grooming youngsters at a young age while heading a school in Sandy, Utah, according to Sarah.

Before Warren relocated some residents to a ranch in Texas, the settlement was located in Short Creek (which included Hildale, Utah, and Colorado City, Arizona). Warren engaged in the habit of child abuse for more than two decades, hosting sex sessions with the minor girls he took as a wife and forcibly separating families.

“We’ve been told and raised our entire lives that our sole link to God is through our one true prophet,” Sarah explained. She went on to say that the followers were taught from a young age to be obedient to their masters.

Sarah afterwards became a victim of family separation. She was suspected of attempting to murder her children and exiled from society, according to the show. Sarah was requested to depart immediately, while her children remained at the chapel.

Sarah returned to reclaim custody of her children in June 2015, accompanied by law enforcement and other mothers. “It took us about three years to get to where we are now to have the fortitude and find it within ourselves to realise we were living a lie,” she said.

After facing her adult son, Sarah was eventually granted custody of her five juvenile children. Sarah claims that children who were separated from their parents were frequently told that their parents were bad people. “They don’t respect you,” she added. They don’t have faith in you. You’ve been accused of kidnapping and murdering children.”

What happened to Sarah Draper and Where Is She Now?

Sarah revealed on the show that while she was able to get her five youngest children out of the house, she was still separated from her three eldest children. Sarah, on the other hand, appears to be doing much better now that she is no longer part of the FLDS society. She appears to work for a retail shop and spend time with her extended family in St. George, Utah. Sarah had eleven children in total, but she had to deal with the tragic loss of her 17-year-old son, William, in March 2022. In a bull-riding accident, her second youngest kid died.
